I have been acquainted with the Christian Counseling and Training Center since its birth. Over the years, I have watched it grow and mature. The Center’s mission has always served to strengthen the Body of Christ in the central Virginia area. I truly believe it is one of God’s gifts of grace to Richmond.
Countless people from our church have completed the CCTC training and benefited from it. In fact, I have never heard anyone speak negatively about the training. On the contrary, I hear constant affirmations and testimonies describing the positive impact that CCTC training has on individuals.
The Christian Counseling & Training Center is a resource for local churches. We can refer hurting people to CCTC in full confidence that they will be ministered to in a professional, Bible-centered way. In fact, one of the distinguishing things about the Center is its use of the Bible as the basis for problem-solving throughout life.
At West End Assembly of God, we value CCTC as a support and asset to our ministries. We are presently using counselor trained by CCTC to develop a peer-counseling ministry.
I can recommend the Christian Counseling & Training Center without reservation. This ministry is doing the Lord’s work!

A safe place to refer.... where thoughtful, wise, trained, and compassionate people with a timely word are available to minister.
A place to train our laymen who have a desire to serve one-on-one in a ministry of encouragement to persons with spiritual needs, as well as a place for those struggling in relationships and who need long term help.
In my opinion CCTC is Richmond's best kept secret. This organization is poised to be of inestimable blessing to all of our churches, as a resource for counseling and the training of lay counselors.
I am happy to commend CCTC to anyone who desires either to be better equipped for one on one ministry to persons struggling in relationships, or has need of personal spiritual growth in that area.
When my own dear wife wanted to better prepare to counsel women, I suggested CCTC. Neither of us has been disappointed. Nothing would please me more than to have half dozen of my deacons and elders
