When an online Application for Biblical Counseling is submitted, the information is used solely to schedule the counselor most appropriate for the requested assistance.

 

7. SMS (Short Message Service)

Information Collected

  • Your mobile phone number (provided via consent form or opt-in).

  • Interaction data (delivery status, responses).
    No protected health information (PHI) is sent via SMS.

How We Use It

SMS is used solely for:

  • Appointment confirmations/reminders.

  • Counseling and training announcements and reminders.

  • Requests for volunteer and financial support.

  • No marketing or third-party sharing.

Consent & Opt-Out
Opt-in is voluntary via website, form, or verbal agreement. Reply STOP to opt out anytime. HELP for assistance. Consent is not required for counseling services. Standard carrier rates apply.

Data Security & Retention
We use reasonable security measures, but SMS is unencrypted. Data is retained only as needed for services and deleted upon opt-out or request.

8. Children’s Privacy

Our website is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information online from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information to us through the website, please contact us so we can remove it.​
